A seminar on the topic “Academics and Youth” was held at Urgench State University

Today, on April 15, at the Palace of Culture of Urgench State University, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Kadir Gulyomov and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Professor, Academician Bobomurot Ahmedov directly communicated with university students and youth and shared their views on science, education and scientific research.

Initially, the “Academics and Youth” meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the university Zafarbek Ibragimov, who introduced the students to the scientists. 

At the seminar, academicians shared their experiences in order to interest young people in science and further increase their enthusiasm for scientific research. They emphasized the importance of not only achieving success in scientific work, but also social activity and mastering modern technologies. The issues of young people trying themselves in science, conducting research and taking leadership in the implementation of new ideas were discussed.

The academicians emphasized that science and knowledge are the main factors in expanding a person's worldview, creating new opportunities and developing society. They emphasized that students should strive to learn new knowledge. They recognized the opportunities that are being implemented in our country for young people in this regard.

The meeting with the academicians was attended by professors and teachers of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics and students of the Physics department.
