Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations visited UrSU

On May 1, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Kun'girotboy Sharipov visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. During the visit, the Minister, accompanied by the university leadership, got acquainted with the equipment of the new Information Resource Center building, which is about to be put into operation.

The Minister, while inspecting each floor and room of this building, which was built to create a modern scientific and information environment and provide students with a comfortable, high-quality education, paid special attention to the equipment of the building. In particular, he gave his recommendations on the issues of providing modern information technologies, comfortable furniture and technical equipment.

The Minister also got acquainted with the project of a new educational building planned for construction at the university. 

For information, this 5-story Information Resource Center building consists of 2 blocks and is designed for 1,000 seats. Inside the library, there is a 506-seat auditorium and a university museum.
