Book presentation

Today, May 7, a book presentation was held at the Palace of Culture of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni among readers and students at the initiative of the Faculty of Philology and Arts.

The presentation was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, D.Gayipov. It was attended by members of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, faculty members, and students.

At the book presentation, the works of the famous writer, journalist, People's Writer of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan Urozboy Abdurahmanov "The Sea is Full, the Moon is Bright", the famous publicist and writer Ruzimboy Hasan "The Sky is Close - the Earth is Soft", the sensitive poet, journalist and translator, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan Erpulat Bakht's "Devoni Muhibbiy" based on the translation of the Sultan Sulaymon Qanuniy Divoni, and the talented poet Zumrad Jumamurodova's "Yomg'irkhat" were presented to the general public.

During the presentation, professors, teachers of the Faculty of Philology and Arts and creative artists spoke, commented on the creative samples in the collection, the wonderful events that were the basis for their creation, and shared their critical views and opinions with the readers.

Also, dances and stage performances performed by students and youth of the faculty added excitement to the presentation and set the stage for welcoming the creation of books as a grand celebration. The event played a positive role in finding a unique interpretation of love for books in the eyes of young readers. 

The main goal of the book presentation is to widely promote book reading among young people and make the bright masterpieces of our literature available to the general public.
