Family Unity – The Foundation of National Progress

Today, on June 5, a competition titled “Family Unity – The Foundation of National Progress” was held at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, under the slogan “Towards a Prosperous Family”. The event was organized at the initiative of the Women’s Advisory Council.

The competition aimed to strengthen love among family members, foster unity, and promote mutual support. Professors and teachers from all faculties of the university actively participated in the event together with their family members.

Participants competed in four categories: “Family Quest”, “Cooking a Favorite Dish Together”, “Thank You for Being There!”, and “We Are a Sports Family”, engaging in friendly rivalry for the top prizes.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were announced and awarded honorary certificates and valuable gifts. During the award ceremony, the university’s First Vice-Rector D.Ibadullaev and Chairwoman of the Women’s Advisory Council N.Atajanova delivered congratulatory speeches, sincerely praising the participants and acknowledging their contributions to family and society.

According to the competition results, the following participants were declared winners:

Dilorom Qo‘ziyeva – Faculty of Philology and Arts
Mehribon Madrahimova – Faculty of Physics and Mathematics

Such events not only encourage women's active participation but also play a significant role in strengthening our family values.
