"Young Guides School" Program Launched at the Faculty of Foreign Philology

At the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, several beneficial projects have been launched during the summer holidays to help students spend their free time meaningfully, guide them toward future careers, and develop their practical skills.

In particular, the faculty has introduced the “Young Guides School” program aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge and skills in tourism, translation, and guiding. The school is currently bustling with student participation, where attendees are actively involved in practical activities such as organizing trips to cultural sites, working with foreign guests, and conducting guided tours.

Additionally, an English language club has been set up at the faculty, attracting students who are eager to learn the language in-depth and fluently. The club offers interactive lessons focused on grammar, speaking, listening comprehension, and writing, providing participants with the opportunity to enhance their English proficiency.

These initiatives play a vital role not only in strengthening students’ academic and practical abilities but also in increasing their interest in future professions and boosting their social engagement.
