Today, on July 22, entrance exams for visually impaired applicants have begun at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni as part of the 2025/2026 academic year admission process.

The exams are being conducted in conditions specially adapted and convenient for young people with special needs. Applicants are taking exams in their chosen fields of study.

Specifically, exams were held in the following areas:

History
Law
Psychology
World Economy and International Economic Relations
Food Technology

Applicants were given 2 hours to complete the subject-specific exams.

Tomorrow, July 23, the written exams in compulsory subjects — mathematics, history, and native language and literature — will continue.

These exam sessions play an important role in creating equal opportunities for visually impaired applicants to enter higher education and in supporting their social engagement.
