"Young Guides School" has started its activity at Urgench State University!

As you know, the “Young Guides School” program has been launched at Urgench State University to increase students’ interest in tourism, develop practical skills in guiding, enhance professional qualifications, and make summer holidays more meaningful.

Today, on August 4, short-term training courses designed for young guides officially began within the framework of this initiative. Today’s sessions were conducted by the Head of the Tourism Department, Associate Professor B.Ollanazarov, and Associate Professor of the Business and Management Department, E. Khodjaniyazov. They delivered lectures on the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of guiding.

Participants of the program will gain knowledge on current topics such as the role of tourism in regional development, strategies for attracting tourists, and the promotion of cultural heritage sites.

The “Young Guides School” not only aims to enhance professional skills but also to increase youth social engagement and prepare qualified personnel to promote our national culture.
