Respect for Teachers – A Noble Tradition
Today, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, on the occasion of "October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day," a meeting was held under the leadership of Acting Rector S.Khodjaniyozov with a group of honorary professors, faculty members, and active members of the Women's Advisory Council.
During the event, the outstanding contributions of teachers and mentors in education and upbringing were specially recognized. In the course of sincere conversations and warm discussions, deep respect and reverence for educators were once again emphasized.
Students recited poems and sang songs dedicated to their teachers, expressing heartfelt wishes on the occasion of the holiday. In honor of the celebration, the university administration presented certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to the esteemed teachers.
