Social and Economic Development Issues at the Center of Discussion

Today, at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, the Republican scientific-practical conference titled “Urgent Issues of Regional Socio-Economic Development,” scheduled for October 15–16, began its work.

The event opened with a ceremonial opening session. University leadership, field experts, specialists, and young researchers participated. The conference was opened by the university’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations, Z.Ibragimov, who spoke about its relevance and scientific and practical significance.

The conference serves to discuss new scientific approaches and practical solutions aimed at ensuring the social and economic progress of the region.
