Berlin Forum: UrSU Expands Cooperation with German Universities
On November 18–19, the Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Uzbekistan and Germany is being held in Berlin, Germany. The event is significant not only for strengthening scientific and academic ties between the two countries but also for shaping new practical mechanisms of cooperation within higher education. The forum focuses on the quality and effectiveness of joint projects aimed at industry and delivering concrete results. This indicates that relations between the educational systems of the two states are entering a new stage.
Among Uzbekistan’s higher education institutions, Acting Rector of Urgench State University S.Khodjaniyazov and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Gh.Urazboyev also took part in the forum and reached important agreements.
In particular, an agreement was signed with the Technical University of Berlin to establish the RISMUz project research center at UrSU. This agreement includes objectives such as elevating scientific research to a new level, supporting innovative ideas, expanding academic exchange, and creating a modern scientific and technical infrastructure.
The participation of the Urgench State University delegation in this forum will further strengthen cooperation with German educational and scientific institutions and contribute to the university’s transformation into an active participant in the international scientific community.
