Urgench State University in the QS Sustainability Ranking!
On November 18, one of the most prestigious international agencies in higher education — QS Quacquarelli Symonds — announced the results of the QS Sustainability Rankings – 2026.
This year's ranking includes nearly 2000 universities worldwide, with 9 higher education institutions from Uzbekistan earning respectable positions. Among them is Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, which was placed in the 1501+ group.
This achievement reflects the university’s extensive efforts in the field of sustainable development — including ecology, social responsibility, efficient use of resources, innovative projects, and improvements in management systems.
