“The next edition of the ‘Young Orators’ contest was dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Today, on December 4, the Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urgench State University held the next edition of the traditionally organized ‘Young Orators’ contest.
Six students of our university competed in two rounds and demonstrated their skills. In the first round, each participant presented all information about themselves in either poetic or prose form; in the second round, they answered questions related to the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Each round was duly evaluated by the panel of judges. According to the results:
1st place: Aytbayeva Yulduz (1st-year master’s student, Literary Studies);
2nd place: Jumaboyeva Mohichehra (3rd-year student, Applied Philology);
3rd place: Saparboyeva Mohichehra (1st-year student, Mathematics).
During the contest, the songs and beautiful dances prepared by students of group 223 of the ‘Philology and Language Teaching: Uzbek Language’ program brought great joy to the audience.
At the end of the event, the dean of the faculty, D.Ghayipov, together with the faculty’s professors and teachers, presented diplomas and commemorative gifts to the winners and active students.”
