“Energy-Saving Projects” competition
Abu Rayhon Beruni–named Urganch State University, Faculty of Engineering, at the initiative of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering, has concluded the competition titled “Energy-Saving Projects”, organized in celebration of December 22 — Energy Workers’ Day. In the competition, 8 teams competed with one another, presenting modern, innovative, and energy-efficient devices and projects. The participants’ developments were thoroughly evaluated by the jury from both theoretical and practical perspectives.At the end of the competition, the authors of the best projects were declared winners and were financially rewarded by the university.
The winners are as follows:
1️⃣ The “Tesla” team, consisting of students from the 221–Electric Power Engineering group, for their project “Modern Vertical Hydroponics”;
2️⃣ The “Intellekt” team, consisting of students from the 251–Energy Engineering group, for their project “Wind Sphere”;
3️⃣ The “Power Suppliers” team, consisting of students from the 231–Electric Power Engineering group, for their project “Development of Autonomous Lighting Systems Based on Turnstiles.”
