Respect and Appreciation – A Tribute to Teachers

Today, on March 6, during the sacred month of Ramadan — a time of kindness, solidarity, and gratitude — and on the occasion of March 8 – International Women’s Day, the Women’s Council of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni visited the homes of veteran teachers who had worked at the university for many years and are now enjoying their retirement.

In particular, visits were made to the homes of senior lecturer Mehribon Sharipova from the Faculty of Sports Activities, Pedagogy and Psychology; associate professor Anajon Rahmonova from the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences; and senior lecturer Oltinoy Botirova from the Faculty of Foreign Philology. During the visits, the respected teachers spoke about their life paths, their professional activities in the fields of science and education, their research, and the valuable experience they gained while mentoring and educating many students.

At the end of the visit, the veteran teachers were warmly congratulated on the upcoming March 8 – International Women’s Day.
