Rector Received a Professor from Selçuk University of Turkey
Today, Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, received Mustafa Demirci, Professor of Medieval History and Islamic Civilization and Director of the “Seljuk Studies” Institute at Selçuk University in Konya, Turkey.
During the meeting, special attention was given to the rich historical heritage of the Khorezm region, the great scholars who originated from this area, and its significant role in the development of Islamic civilization. It was emphasized that Khorezm, which developed as a center of science and enlightenment, has long been connected with Turkic peoples through strong ties of brotherhood.
The meeting also discussed issues related to further expanding cooperation between Urgench State University and Selçuk University.
