A meeting between the rector and parents was held within the framework of the “Parents’ forum”

Today, within the framework of the “Parents’ forum” organized at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, a meeting was held between the Rector of the university, Feruza Madrahimova, and the parents of students.

During the meeting, Rector Feruza Madrahimova spoke about the broad opportunities being created for young people in our country, particularly for female students, the reforms being implemented in the higher education system, as well as the educational process at the university and the modern facilities and conditions provided for students.

Special attention was given to issues related to youth development, the meaningful organization of their leisure time, ensuring their employment, increasing their social engagement, and further strengthening cooperation with parents in preventing corruption in the educational process. It was emphasized that parents play an invaluable role in encouraging young people, especially female students, to pursue knowledge, acquire professional skills, and secure a достойное place in society.

The meeting was held in a sincere and open atmosphere, allowing for constructive dialogue. Parents also shared their views and expressed gratitude to the university administration and staff for the opportunities created for their children and for the attention devoted to their education and upbringing.

Following the meeting between the Rector and the parents, held as part of the “Parents’ forum,” a cultural concert program was presented for the participants.

The musical performances of the student orchestra “Jayhun”, led by Inoyat Karimov, a lecturer at the department of arts, brought joy and a festive spirit to the audience. At the conclusion of the event, letters of appreciation from Rector Feruza Madrahimova were presented to the parents of a group of talented female students who have been actively participating in academic studies, research activities, creative projects, sports competitions, and community service.
