Today, the 11th meeting of the Academic Council of Urgench State University was held. The meeting was chaired by the rector of the University Feruza Madrahimova, with the participation of the members of the Council. At the beginning of the meeting, political information was presented on current processes related to the political, economic, and social life of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Afterwards, reports and briefings by responsible officials on the urgent issues included in the agenda were heard. In particular, reports on the results of the 2025–2026 academic year were presented by the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, the vice-rectors for academic affairs and the relevant departments. The meeting also thoroughly discussed the approval of the regulations of scientific centers and the “Summer School” program, the analysis of work carried out on staff allocation across university departments over the past three academic years, as well as the state of implementation of the Law “On appeals of individuals and legal entities” at the university in the first half of 2026. Relevant decisions were adopted to ensure the effective implementation of all issues, and the Rector assigned specific tasks to the responsible officials.
In addition, the changes introduced to the organizational structure of the university were approved by the members of the Academic Council.
At the end of the meeting, various issues were discussed, and members of the teaching staff were recommended for academic titles awarded by the Higher Attestation Commission.
