Minister of higher education, science and innovation Kongratbay Sharipov visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. During the visit, accompanied by university rector Feruza Madrahimova, the construction and development works being carried out at the university were reviewed.
First, the construction and renovation works at the modern building being constructed for the Faculty of intellectual sciences and technologies, as well as at the Artificial intelligence center being established within it, were closely inspected. The minister gave relevant recommendations and instructions on ensuring the high-quality completion of construction works, equipping classrooms and laboratories with modern technologies, and creating comfortable conditions for students.
After that, the minister visited the special displays organized under the heading “Our teachers are our pride” as a sign of respect for teachers at the university. These displays feature the life stories, academic and pedagogical activities, and photographs of teachers who have made significant contributions to the development of the university and the advancement of science.
During the visit, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of honoring the memory of teachers and passing on their rich life experience and exemplary work to the younger generation.
