The rector met with the staff of the Faculty of Technology.

Today, in the afternoon, Feruza Madrahimova, Rector of Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University, met with the staff of the Faculty of Engineering.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sanjarbek Madaminov, Dean of the Faculty, presented a report on the work carried out and the results achieved during the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as the priority tasks set for the 2026/2027 academic year.

During the discussion, priority areas aimed at taking the Faculty’s activities to a new level were considered. In particular, special attention was paid to expanding “Spin-off” projects, putting scientific developments into practice, strengthening the integration of education, science, and industry, and further developing cooperation with industrial enterprises.

The participants also discussed the launch of a joint educational programme in cooperation with XCMG, the sending of 20 students to China for practical training, the expansion of international cooperation, and the integration of advanced international practices into the educational process.

During the meeting, tasks were outlined to further develop dual education, integrate students’ theoretical knowledge with practical training in industry, strengthen their skills in working with modern equipment and technologies, and train qualified young engineers who meet the requirements of the labour market.

In addition, attention was paid to developing the activities of scientific laboratories and making effective use of their capabilities, expanding the scope of scientific and theoretical seminars, improving educational and methodological work, developing textbooks and teaching manuals, and enhancing the scientific and professional capacity of the teaching staff.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the responsible officials were given relevant instructions and tasks regarding the areas discussed.
