In order to prevent fires and other emergency situations during the autumn–winter season and to ensure compliance with safety requirements in rented apartments where students reside, preventive measures have been launched jointly by Urgench State University and the Urgench City Department of Emergency Situations.
Today, in order to effectively organize work in this area, a meeting was held under the leadership of the First Vice-Rector of Urgench State University, Sh. Allaberganov, and the Head of the Urgench City Department of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant Colonel Sh. Khudashukurov.
During the meeting, deputy deans, tutors, and officials responsible for youth affairs were assigned relevant tasks to conduct targeted inspections of the rented apartments where students reside, assess the existing safety conditions on site, and eliminate identified shortcomings.
In order to ensure thorough preparation for the safe passage of the autumn–winter season, working groups consisting of university staff and employees of the Department of Emergency Situations were formed, and inspections of rented apartments began.
