The autumn season of the national project "Green Space" has started at Urgench State University
Today, autumn tree-planting activities were carried out at the Educational and Experimental Farm of Abu Rayhan Biruni Urgench State University as part of the “Yashil Makon” (Green Space) nationwide project.
The event was actively attended by university administrators, faculty members, staff, and volunteer students, led by Rector Feruza Madrahimova.
As part of this initiative aimed at landscaping the university grounds, expanding green spaces, and ensuring environmental sustainability, a total of 1200 fruit-bearing and ornamental tree seedlings were planted, including 500 cherry trees, 300 paulownia trees, 300 ash trees, and 100 juniper trees.
Tree-planting activities will continue across the university grounds as part of the project.
