Khorezm Musical Drama Theater hosted a festive event under the motto "Uzbek language is my pride."
A festive event was held under the motto "Language is my pride in collaboration with "Khorezm regional administration, regional council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, regional branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment and Urgench State University on October 20, 2020 at the Khorezm Musical Drama Theater.
Opening the event, Hokim of Khorezm region Farhod Ermanov congratulated everyone on the fact that this year, October 21 - "Day of the Uzbek language" is celebrated for the first time as the official law of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
"By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 20, 2020, the position of advisor has been assigned to improve the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work in all government agencies, ministries and organizations equivalent to them, ensuring compliance with the legislation on the state language," said F. Ermanov.
Students of the Faculty of Philology of Urgench State University took an active part in the event with their poems and songs praising the Uzbek language.
