On March 26, 2021, the Uzbek State Academy of Choreography hosted the Republican scientific-practical conference "Formation of choreographic terms in the Uzbek language: current status and stages of development."

At the conference, Botir Rakhimov, Head of the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Art History, Urgench State University, spoke on "The commonality of music, poetry and dance in the art of maqom."
