On October 22, 2022, South Korea's Silla University Vice President Professor Pyeongkee Kim, Director of International Cooperation Department Professor Hyung Geun Kim, Korean Language Specialist, Korean Content Development Professor Jeong Seon visited Urganch State University.

Before the visit, the guests met with UrDU Rector B.Abdullayev. During the meeting, the parties exchanged information about the current activities of the universities. In particular, UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev spoke about the expansion of international relations with Korean universities, the introduction of Korean language as a second language, the ongoing work on the development of the Korean language at the university, and his proposals for establishing cooperation with Silla University.
