On December 26 of this year, sports competitions were held in connection with the New Year holiday by the trade union committee of Urganch State University with the participation of professors, teachers and employees. A number of professors and teachers of the faculty of Uzbek philology of UrSU actively participated in the sports of chess, checkers, and table tennis and won honorable places. In particular, the teacher of the department of Russian language and literature Makhmudov Umid Reimbayevich won the 1st place in the field of table tennis. The teacher of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Makhmudov Umid Reimbayevich won the table tennis competition for the second time in the competitions organized by the trade union.

        The winners of the competition were awarded with valuable gifts by the Trade Union Committee of UrSU. Professors and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology actively participate and take pride of place in various events and competitions held by Urganch State University.
