50 grape varieties are included in the agricultural State Register of grape varieties recommended for planting in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main varieties are: "Aleatiko", "Bayan Shirey", "Kuldzhinsky", "Magarachsky", "Morastel", "Muskat Aleksandriysky". ", "Muscat Hungarian", "Muscat Rozovy", "Muscat Uzbekistansky", "Rkatsiteli", "Saperavi", "Riesling", "Tarnau" are widely distributed in the republic. In 2021-2024, 156,000 hectares of new vineyards were established in 48 districts specializing in viticulture. During the past period, 85,000 hectares (55%) of vineyards were planted.
