Scientific-methodological seminar of the Department of Fruit and Vegetables Department of Urganch State University Saparbayev.

The report contains information on the classification and economic efficiency (catalogue) of non-traditional agricultural crops grown in different areas and regions of the republic.

  The catalog includes about 40 types of non-traditional agricultural crops in botany, geography of distribution, biology of growth and development, agrotechnology of care and crop production, features of organization of agrotechnological processes, optimal periods of planting, types of costs related to crop production and efficiency indicators are presented.

Catalog including:

from vegetable crops - artichoke, okra, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, medicinal melissa;

from grain crops - barley, sorghum, oats, sorghum, oats;

from leguminous crops - vetch, green peas, cultivated lentils, sown beans;

  They independently analyze the topic together with their group, ask the teacher about misunderstandings, and 20 minutes before the end of the lesson, the groups answer questions with each other and are evaluated. 

  In this way, the professors and teachers of the department addressed the speaker and the student with the questions they were interested in, and the seminar was full of questions and in a high spirit.
