Scientific-theoretical seminar of Durdiyev Kamil, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fruits and Vegetables, Urganch State University, on the topic of studying wine varieties of grapes with the help of modern pedagogical technologies

Grape varieties 50 grape varieties are included in the State Register of Agriculture recommended for planting in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Grape varieties: "Aleatiko", "Bayan Shirey", "Kuldzhinsky", "Magarachsky", "Morastel", "Muskat Aleksandriysky", "Muskat Wengersky", "Muskat Rozovy", "Muskat Uzbekistansky", "Rkatsiteli", "Saperavi" ", "Riesling", "Tarnau" are widespread in the republic.
 Works in the field of viticulture development
In 2021-2024, 156,000 hectares of new vineyards were established in 48 districts specializing in viticulture, and 85,000 hectares (55%) of vineyards were planted during the previous period.
More than 1,000 grape varieties have been created at the Research Institutes of Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking and Plant Science named after Academician Makhmud Mirzayev.
In addition, scientific cooperation on the creation of new varieties of grapes is being carried out with the Russian Kurchatovsky Institute and Magarach scientific centers, the Austrian Higher Federal College of Viticulture and Winemaking, and the Italian universities of Bologna and Florence. 
  In this way, the professors and teachers of the department asked the speaker and the student with the questions they were interested in, and the seminar was full of questions and in an upbeat spirit.
