A student of Urgench State University took part in the International Mathematical Competition and won a gold medal

On August 2-7, 2021, the International Mathematical Competition (IMC) was held among university students. 592 students from more than 55 countries took part in this Olympiad. In particular, students from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University (USA), Saint-Petersburg State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Russia), Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany) , the University of Cambridge, University College London, Imperial College London, University of Manchester, (UK) and students from other prestigious universities took part.

Islombek Ismoilov, a student of the 193rd group of Mathematics (Russian) at the Physics and Mathematic Facultys of Urgench State University, also took part and won a GOLD medal in this International Mathematical Competition.

The Urgench State University administration expresses its gratitude to the teachers of Islambek Dean of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty Khojamov Jumanazar Urazmetovich and Atamurotov Alimardon Abdirimovich, as well as the specialists who prepared him for the international olympiad, Behzod Kurbanbaev (Institute of Mathematics) and Farhod Haydarov (NUU).
