The next round of "Young orators" contest is dedicated to teachers' day
In order to strengthen the students' desire to speak fluently and correctly in their native language, especially Uzbek, to master the art of public speaking, as well as to pay more attention and respect to the state language,on September 29, 2021 next round of the contest "Young orators", held by the Philology Faculty, was dedicated to October 1 - Teachers Day.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU S.Davletov, who sincerely congratulated all participants and professors on their professional holiday.
At the beginning of the contest, the head of the Khorezm regional branch of the partner organization Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen of Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party Sh.Otajonov warmly congratulated the dedicated and hard-working teachers and presented a group of professors with the Appreciation Letters and presents.
Afterwards, festive songs, performances and poems praising the teachers on the stage, shared everyone a festive mood.
In this festive round of the contest “Young orators”, which was held on October 1 - Teachers Day,5 students of the Philology Faculty competed with each other.
The contest was held in two stages: in the first stage, each participant expressed his / her personal information in a poetic and prose way, in the second stage it was tested how correctly, accurately and quickly they could respond on a given topic, which further enhances and tests the speaking skills.
The results of the contest were announced by the chairman of the jury, docent B.Rahimova:
1st place: Ibragimov Izzatbek (213th Uzbek language group)
2nd place: Madaminova Dilnura (211th Uzbek language group)
3rd place: Rahimova Dilrabo (211th Uzbek language group)
The winners were awarded diplomas and presents by the dean of the faculty D.Gayipov.
