At a time when our country is on the threshold of an important political event, it is important to provide the public, especially our youth, with full information about the upcoming election process, its organizational and legal framework, and its importance.

For this purpose, on October 19, 2021 at Urgench State University held a round table discussion on the topic "Youth and Elections". During the Round Table, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the event.

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs of UrSU Sanjar Davletov, who made an introductory speech based on information about the upcoming election process.

During the round table discussion, our guests spoke about what elections are, the role of the upcoming election process in our lives, the importance and specifics of the presidential election, the content of amendments and additions to the Electoral Code and electoral legislation.

At the end of the event, the students took an active part in the questions and answers. We can say that this event was useful for students.
