A press tour to national and cultural centers was organized on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance
On November 16, 2021, with the participation of students of Urgench State University, on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, a press tour was organized to the House of Friendship and Non-Profit Organizations on the theme "Religious tolerance and interethnic harmony - a guarantee of peace and stability."
Within the framework of the Press tour, a group of students and youth visited the House of Friendship and Non-Profit Organization under the leadership of Sh.Nurullayeva, the Chairwoman of the Women's Advisory Council of the UrSU and Kh. Siddikov, Deputy Dean of Pedagogy Faculty for Youth Issues, Spiritual and Educational Affairs.
The students get acquainted with Kazakh, Russian and Korean national cultural centers, accompanied by Antonina Kim, the head of the House of Friendship and Non-Profit Organizations and the Korean National Cultural Center.
They visited the following places and got acquainted with the national values and traditions of each nation:
- Korean National Cultural Center and a museum with photographs of Korean heroes who made a significant contribution to the development of Khorezm;
- Center for teaching Korean and national dances free of charge;
- Russian National Cultural Center, library and museum;
- The sewing centers of the Kazakh National Cultural Center and Kazakh yurts.
During the press tour, the students, who wore national costumes of different nationalities, made a great interest and an unforgettable impression.
