Urgench State University hosted a remembrance event on the theme "Xalqiga baxshida umr"

Because the life and work of this restless woman deserves to be a model. Shakarjon Khojaniyazova's whole leadership activity, her ability to see the future clearly, her ability to choose the right path even in difficult times, her perseverance and perseverance in moving towards her goal was particularly evident in 1992-2000.

Today, on June 29, a remembrance event was held at Urgench State University in memory of Shakarjon Khojaniyazova, holder of the orders "Mehnat Shuhrati" and "Fidokorona Xizmatlari Uchun", "O‘zbekiston Respublikasida xizmat ko‘rsatgan qishloq xo‘jaligi xodimi".

Representatives of Khorezm regional administration, members of the Writers' Union, members of the regional branch of the Family and Women's Committee, family members of the deceased, teachers, colleagues, friends, students, professors and students of Urgench State University took part in the remembrance event.

Rector of UrSU Bakhrom Abdullayev opened the event, which was moderated by the chairwoman of the Women's Council of UrSU Sh.Nurullayeva. She spoke about the qualities of a real Uzbek woman in Shakarjon Khojaniyazova and her leadership potential.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Water Resources and Ecology Bahodir Tajiyev, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Khairullo Gafforov. They recalled their memories of Shakarjon Khojaniyazova, emphasizing that one of the best deeds is to remember great people who have selflessly served for the development of the country, to remember their good deeds, to pass them on to the younger generation.

At the end of the memorial evening, artistic performances of students of the Faculty of Arts of UrSU were demonstrated.
