The awarding ceremony of the republican final round of table tennis of the "Universiade-2022" sports competitions was held

On November 5-8 this year, the republican final round of table tennis matches of the "Universiade-2022" competition was held in Khorezm region, which brought together sportsmen and students of higher educational institutions of our country.

The teams of all regions of our republic, the city of Tashkent and the Republic of Karakalpakstan took part in the competition. Today, November 8, the awarding ceremony of lively and uncompromising competitions was held in the spacious and bright sports halls of the Urganch Olympic and Paralympic Reserve College.

The awarding ceremony was attended by E. Kadirov, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Organizing Committee for Universiade Sports Competitions, N. Jumaniyozova, Head of the General Department of Sports Development of Khorezm Region, S. Davletov, First Vice-Rector of Urganch State University, management of the Faculty of Physical Culture and students participated in it.

The awarding ceremony was opened by N. Jumaniyozova, the head of the General Department of Sports Development of Khorezm region, who warmly congratulated all the winners and prize-winners, and E. Kadirov, the deputy chairman of the Republican Organizing Committee for Universiade sports competitions, congratulated and thanked the leading organizations for organizing competitions.

After the national anthem was played in the company of all the participants, it was time to announce the winners and prize-winners. First, the winners of the individual and mixed doubles competitions were awarded.

In the most exciting part of the event, the winners of the team games of the competitions were announced. According to him:

1st place: teams of Andijan region;

2nd place: teams of Namangan region;

3rd place: teams of Navoi and Tashkent region.

The winning teams were ceremoniously awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Student Sports Association of Uzbekistan, and valuable gifts from the organizing committee.
