In order to determine the winners of the regional stage of the "Woman of the Year" and "Gender Equality Activist" national contests, documents summarizing the professional activities of more than 70 women who achieved high results at the district and city levels were reviewed by the regional commission on the basis of openness and transparency.

According to the results, associate professor of Urganch State University Shoira Nurullayeva won first place as "The strongest spiritual and educational propagandist of the year".

Also, 10 women were awarded in the following nominations"The most patriotic woman of the year", "The best creative woman of the year", "Woman of the year who is a master of her profession", "The strongest spiritual and educational propagandist of the year", "The most passionate teacher of the year" , "The most active promoter of a healthy lifestyle of the year", "The initiator of new ideas of the year", "The most active woman scientist of the year", "The most advanced entrepreneur woman of the year", "The best IT developer of the year".

The winners were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the Department of Family and Women of Khorezm region.
