The team of volunteer translators of the Faculty of Foreign Philology participated in the next international event and fulfilled their translation duties
On November 15-17, 2022, the Director General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, arrived in Uzbekistan. As part of this visit, UNESCO officials also visited the historical complex "Ichan Kala" in Khiva. They also went and directly studied the activities of preschool educational institutions, secondary education and Presidential schools in our region. During the monitoring of our educational system, news and innovations in it, volunteer translators of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Urganch State University worked with distinguished guests and made their grateful contribution to the organization of this internationally important event at a high level.
It is no exaggeration to say that this event serves as an opportunity for our students to develop their foreign language skills. During the event, teachers of the "Theory and Practice of Translation" department M. Nazarov and M. Atajonova took an active part in directly and indirectly coordinating the activities of volunteer translators.
