Next meeting: Faculty of Physics and Mathematics

Today, January 6, Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev met with the team of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. At the meeting, the past year 2022 was summarized on the example of the faculty, and plans for the next year were determined. In particular, the scientific potential of the faculty, the number of defenses made in the previous year were analyzed, the scientific works published by the members of the department were discussed, and the issue of increasing the scientific potential was put on the agenda. The need to learn the language was emphasized.

For information, currently there are 5 departments in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics and a total of 77 professors and teachers are working in them. The scientific potential of the faculty is 36%. In the last two years, 9 PhDs were defended.
