Wheel of fortune: Sultan Jalaluddin Manguberdi in the war of Georgia

Today, on January 7, journalist and writer Nur Ahmad Hojiboy og'li, who has been an editor at the Khorezm region TV and radio company for many years and is currently working at the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, visited Urganch State University and met with the rector Bakhrom Abdullayev.

At the meeting, there was a creative discussion about one of the representatives of Georgian literature of the 20th century, Grigol Abashidze's work on "Wheel of fortune: Sultan Jalaluddin Manguberdi in the war of Georgia". Nur Ahmad expressed his views as the translator of this work.

The novel is part of a famous trilogy about the bloody past of Georgia. This work tells the story of the most tragic period in the history of Georgia - the conquest of Georgian lands by Khorezmshah Jalaluddin Manguberdi, who sometimes won and was defeated in wars with Genghis Khan, and dreamed of restoring the great kingdom of his grandfathers.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that this work, which tells about the glorious life of our great-grandfather Jalaluddin Manguberdi, should be printed in many thousands of copies and presented to university students, and every young generation should have a deep understanding of our history and our great hero. It was agreed to hold the presentation evening of the novel.

At the end of the meeting, Nur Ahmad presented his translated work "Wheel of fortune", as well as the memoir "Fifteen of the Moon..." on the images of people who bravely overcome life's trials, the feelings of boundless love for the Motherland, respect for parents, loyalty to friends and brothers were glorified, and he was a direct witness of what he had seen and known during his life to Rector B.Abdullayev.
