Urganch State University teachers participated in the Mongolian expedition

On October 12-19, 2023, an expedition group of our region, consisting of historians, visited Mongolia in order to study the history of Khorezm-Mongol relations. M. Jumaniyozova, associate professor of History Department of Urganch State University, and M. Khasanov, teacher of the department, also participated in the expedition.

During the trip, scientific research was conducted in several libraries where books on the history of Khorezm are stored. They participated in the 1st international conference dedicated to the history of Khorezm-Mongol relations held on October 18-19.

They also visited the National University of Mongolia and met with the president of the university, Badarch Dandev. They exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation. As a result of the meeting, it was possible to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.
