THE MINISTER VISITED THE FACULTY OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGIES

On February 28, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kungirotboy Sharipov, visited the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of Urgench State University, accompanied by the rector of the university, Bakhrom Abdullayev, got acquainted with the work being carried out at the faculty.

First, he got acquainted with the faculty's developments in the field of science and innovation, the exhibition of projects planned for production. The exhibition featured more than 20 types of scientific developments and inventions created by faculty scientists, doctoral and master's students. While getting acquainted with each of them, the minister emphasized the need to expand the possibilities of financing all these projects. Recommends increased promotion and commercialization focusing on solar panel cleaner.

He also visited the Faculty's Food Safety Laboratory. He had a conversation with the young researchers there about their scientific work. He paid attention to the use of laboratory equipment.

Q. Sharipov also visited Khorezm innovative technology park at the university. Today, this technological park produces 8 types of products, 2 types of bread products, 7 types of confectionery products by processing milk, sewing workshops are operating. It is important that our students are employed in these workshops. The minister was interested in the working processes of the students. He had a conversation with them.

At the end of his visit to the faculty, the minister got acquainted with the construction works of the newly completed sports complex and the 600-bed student residence, which is currently under construction.
