A media tour was organized in Khorezm Innovation Technopark

Today, on April 9, a media tour was organized to acquaint media representatives, journalists and bloggers with the activities of Khorezm Innovation Technopark at Urgench State University. Journalists and bloggers, heads of information services from our region took part in it.

During the media tour, the participants were closely acquainted with the activities of the Khorezm Innovation Technopark located on the territory of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies of the university, as well as the scientific and innovative developments of the researchers of this faculty.

The participants of the tour were accompanied by Z.Ibragimov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovation of UrSU, professor M.Jumaniyozov, dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technologies Sh.Kuramboyev and director of the Khorezm Innovation Technopark M.Ibadullayev informed about the current work and future plans in the Khorezm Innovation Technopark, as well as, showed and introduced scientific and innovative developments of faculty scientists.

Khorezm innovative technology park is considered the main link that provides integration of education - science - production. Currently, 10 types of products such as diabetic bread, flame-resistant special clothes, melon jam, melon chips, dairy products, bedding, souvenirs have been produced in the technological park. Students have the opportunity to practice and get a job at the same time.

Production of dairy products, bakery products, flour confectionery, various types of pastries has been started in the technopark. In addition, tailoring workshops have been established here. It produces sheets for university dormitories with the participation of students.

Based on the advantage of technologies, special breads are prepared based on human health through innovation, and yogurt, yogurt, cream, and cheese products are made by processing dairy products and are sold under the brand of "Urgench State University".

This year, a project on melon processing has been launched, which will provide an opportunity to generate additional income for the population. In addition, work is being carried out on two projects on the processing of tomato products and the production of tomatoes.
