Members of the "Melon Festival" commission, established by the Khorezm regional administration, visited the pavilion of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni. During the visit, the commission members got acquainted with the university's scientific and practical developments.

In particular, the exhibition prepared by the Faculty of Chemical Technologies showcasing melons and their processed products sparked great interest among festival guests. The display featured innovative products such as melon juice, jam, chips, and confectionery items.

Additionally, the university's Melon Cultivation Department presented its scientific research in melon breeding and the creation of new varieties. Among them, high-yielding, climate-adapted, and export-oriented varieties stood out.

The commission members highly praised the university team's level of preparation for the festival and expressed positive feedback on the scientific work of young scholars and researchers.
