"A clean and prosperous neighborhood is the pride of the nation!"
Across our country, on August 22–23, a nationwide charity cleanup (hashar) is being held in celebration of the 34th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of this noble initiative, the team at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni is actively participating.
Extensive landscaping and cleaning work is being carried out on the university grounds. Trees have been whitewashed, walkways cleaned, and a team of volunteers consisting of environmentally conscious youth is working together in unity and dedication.
In particular, the faculties of Chemical Technologies and Engineering are conducting the cleanup with great enthusiasm. The volunteers and staff have wholeheartedly committed themselves to making their workplace more beautiful, clean, and vibrant.
These charitable activities are an important step toward promoting a healthy lifestyle, enhancing environmental awareness, and preparing for the holiday in a worthy manner.
