Fulbright ETA English Teaching Program Instructor from the U.S. to Conduct Lessons at UrSU

From September 11, 2025, to June 30, 2026, as part of the collaboration between the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and Urgench State University, Fulbright ETA English Teaching Program instructor Jack Evans is scheduled to work at the university to provide students with more in-depth English language instruction.

In this regard, today, within the framework of the program, Utkirbek Tadjimov, Public Diplomacy Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, and Jack Evans, assistant of the "Fulbright ETA - UrSU English Teaching" program, visited Urgench State University.

The guests were warmly welcomed by the university administration. First, an official meeting was held with the program participants, including Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G.Urazboev, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology Z.Jumaniyozov, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature R. Abidova, and Associate Professor F. Masharipova.

After that, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Foreign Philology with the teachers of the English Language and Literature Department, during which the ongoing cooperation, mutual satisfaction, and the goals and objectives of the program were discussed.
