“TalabaEXPO–2025” Career Fair Held at UrSU

Today, October 16, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, the career fair “TalabaExpo-2025” was held to support graduating youth, ensure their employment, and promote entrepreneurship and innovative initiatives.

This event was organized within the framework of the “Step into the Future” project in cooperation with the National Bank of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, the Khorezm Regional Administration, the Youth Affairs Agency, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More than 10,000 students and graduates from all higher education institutions in the region participated. Over 1,300 job vacancies were offered by more than 130 major employers, including opportunities for internships and apprenticeships.

The event began with a ceremonial opening, where the Deputy Governor of Khorezm region, S.Salayev, the Acting Rector of Urgench State University, S.Khodjaniyazov, and the head of the “Step into the Future” center under “O‘zmilliybank” JSC, E.Khoshimov, spoke.

In their speeches, they emphasized that ensuring youth employment is a priority task set by the President and highlighted the extensive work being done in this area as well as the importance of the fair.
