The State Language — Pride of the Nation!
At present, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni is hosting a nationwide dictation marathon aimed at implementing Presidential Decree No. 308 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated October 20, 2025, “On additional measures for the further development of the state language.”
Within this initiative, the university administration, professors and teachers from all faculties, along with hundreds of students and young people, have united with a common goal — to demonstrate their respect and devotion to the native language in action.
The dictation marathon serves not only as a means to test spelling and literacy, but also as an opportunity to deeply understand the role of the state language in society — its unifying and elevating power for the nation.
