An international scientific-practical conference dedicated to modern linguistics and translation studies is being held

On October 24–25 of this year, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni is hosting an international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Modern and Comparative Linguistics, Comparative Literary Studies, and Translation Studies.”

The opening ceremony of the conference took place first. It was opened by Z.Ibragimov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the conference and wished success to its participants. After that, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, Z.Jumaniyozov, spoke about the international scientific projects being implemented at the university.

During the plenary session, Professor A.Jumaniyozov, as well as professors and lecturers from higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other foreign countries, delivered their presentations via the Zoom platform.

Within the framework of the conference, ongoing scientific research in the fields of linguistics, literary studies, and translation studies, as well as their practical significance, were discussed.
