A meeting dedicated to achievements in the field of sports was held at Urgench State University

Today, within the framework of the “Second Initiative”, a meeting was organized at Urgench State University with Asian, World, and Olympic champions, as well as winners of various international competitions.

At the event, Acting Rector of UrSU S.Khodjaniyazov delivered a speech about the great attention paid to sports in our country, the favorable conditions being created, and the outstanding results achieved by our young athletes.
Deputy Chairman of the University Sports Club M.Rakhimov also emphasized the achievements of young athletes, noting that they are honorably representing the university on the international stage.

During the meeting, it was noted that the university’s female volleyball team, together with their coaches, actively participated in the major international sports competition — “CAVA College University Volleyball Championship 2025”, held at Bukhara State University, where they achieved an honorable third place.
For their high results and successful performance, the team members were awarded a cash prize of 30 million soums from the university.

During the meeting, Asian weightlifting champion H.Fardiyev, Asian judo champion M.Ollaberganova, world armwrestling champion O.Shavkatov, and member of the university women's volleyball team Sh.Rozimova inspired their peers with their successes, experiences, and future plans.
