Toward Creativity and Enlightenment: Renowned Writers at UrSU

Today, on November 24, as part of the “Sharing Enlightenment” project, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni hosted distinguished literary figures — writer, playwright, and journalist Shahodat Isakhonova, as well as writer, scholar, publicist, and educator Hulkar Hamroyeva.

During the visit, a meeting was held between the university administration, led by Acting Rector Sardor Khodjaniyazov, and the guest authors.

During a sincere conversation with the guests, the relevance of the project, the role of literature, artistic creativity, and reading in the lives of young people, the importance of fostering a culture of reading among students, and increasing their interest in acquiring knowledge were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were presented with commemorative gifts from the university.
