An unforgettable meeting with artists took place at UrSU

Today, on November 24, at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, a creative dialogue was held with the People’s Artists of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, Ghofurjon and Ghulomjon Eshchonov, as well as with Odilbek Sabirov, Director of the Khorezm regional branch of the National Maqam Art Center of Uzbekistan, and the ensemble team.

During the meeting, the ensemble presented a vibrant concert program, giving the audience a truly festive atmosphere. The harmony of music and conversation further enhanced students’ interest, respect, and attention toward the national musical heritage.

Additionally, the presentation of a new book by Botir Rakhimov, associate professor of the “Art” department of the Faculty of Philology and Art, titled “Sozparvar yurt hamnafas hofizlari”, was held. The book is dedicated to the traditions of vocal arts in our country, and to the lives and creativity of musicians, serving as a priceless spiritual resource for the younger generation.

Such meetings inspire young people toward creativity and artistic thinking and contribute uniquely to the development of our national art.
